Rosemary is an aromatic herb native to the Mediterranean. It has a sharp, piney pungency that pairs beautifully with lamb, pork, poultry and tomatoes. Ours is grown by WillowWisp, an organic farm in Damascus, PA. Wrap in a paper towel and keep refrigerated.
Rosemary adds a wonderful perfume to potatoes roasted with olive oil and salt. Add a couple sprigs to your next tomato sauce. Chop it finely and stir it into shortbread before baking.
