Grown hydroponically (in water, without soil) by Bialecki Farms in Lakewood, PA, this Butterhead lettuce has large, soft leaves that are great for wrapping. 

The best way to prolong the life of your lettuce is to wrap the whole head in a slightly damp paper towel and store it inside a plastic bag in the refrigerator.
