What is the order minimum?

Why is there a delivery fee?

Our $16 delivery fee offsets the cost of our refrigerated supply chain, which ensures ultimate freshness and safety.

Where are your partner farms located?

The Catksills, Northeastern Pennsylvania and the Fingerlakes region.

Why aren’t all your farms organic?

The USDA has received criticism for creating a narrow definition of organic that favors industrial-size organic operations. The small-scale farms we work with are carefully vetted by us to ensure that they follow best practices, including raising animals humanely and growing produce with regenerative techniques—values espoused by the original organic movement.

How do I order?

Shop for the items you want, add them to your cart and select a delivery date at checkout. At present, we are not delivering to every zip code every day of the week.

What is your delivery procedure?

Our special system lets our drivers contact you without knowing your email or text information. You will receive notification when the driver is headed to you along with a link that allows you to track the truck’s route. If you have special delivery instructions, please specify them in your order notes. Be aware that our packages are refrigerated, so if you’re having a doorman accept your delivery, be sure to take that into consideration. 

How is my order packaged?

Your delivery arrives in a cardboard banker’s box that can be repurposed or recycled. The majority of our packing material is made from recycled paper. When plastic is used, it’s for food safety issues only. Our bioplastic produce bags are entirely compostable. Be aware that our packages are refrigerated, so if you’re having a doorman accept your delivery, be sure to take that into consideration. 

What are your safety protocols?

We go above and beyond all the mandated requirements to follow the strictest safety practices, including those specific to COVID-19. Our small team works in spaces specially designed to limit touchpoints and to promote health and safety.

What is the cancellation policy?

You may cancel you order three (3) days prior to delivery by emailing info@freshcatskills.com.

After that, you can transfer your order to someone else in your delivery zone or you can opt to donate it to a family in need.  

What is your return/refund policy?

Due to the current health crisis, we cannot accept any returns or exchanges. If you have an issue with an order, contact us at info@freshcatskills.com. We will address every situation individually and do our best to resolve it to your satisfaction
